Stainless Steel (Original glass). A great example from Omega. This Rare Constellation Chronometer watch features a striking original rare gun metal dial with a silver outlined date window at the 3 o’clock position which is a very useful asset. The dial is embellished with raised striking black/silver baton markers, black/silver hour hands a silver sweeping second hand and outer minute markers. It has the original glass fitted. The stainless steel case houses the highly reliable 564 (quick set) Calibre movement which has recently been serviced and is beautifully presented on a new black leather strap with an aftermarket Omega buckle. This automatic mechanical movement does not need batteries. The dial is signed Omega Automatic Chronometer Officially Certified Constellation Swiss Made. The screw back casing displays the Constellation embossed emblem showing the Geneva Observatory surrounded by 8 stars. This watch can be worn at any occasion, it would make a fabulous gift or grace any collection. Please study the images as this makes up part of the description as you can see this Constellation is in fair condition for a watch from the 60’s. We have rated this as fair due to the condition of the bezel although the case and the dial are in great condition. If you would prefer a strap of a different colour please let us know.
