Omega Constellation Railroad Vintage BLACK&Original Dial! Rarest of the Rare

And another very rare Omega from the 1960`s….. One of the Rarest version of the so called Railroad Constellation Dials. This is no Safe Queen. Was worn with pride and the Australian Sun changed the Black Dial colour a bit…. All Original writing and dial applications in Gold. Same for the Gold hands. Original Omega Crystal with the logo in the Middle. Correct Omega signed crown as well. The case has been polished in the past at movement services, which was standard procedure then. But: The Glass Bezel shows sharp lines ; so was not polished a lot in the past. The Gold Back Observatory insert is in very good shape. This Constellation was worn on a horrible BUND style Leather band, which preserved the the back pretty well! All in all, this case is pretty good for it`s age. No dents ; just light scratches from everyday wear. Keeps very good time! Finally found the Steel band, it came with as well. Omega Beads of Rice 7 strand, which is Omega original and is quite long! Around 7.3 inch plus… Endlinks are Number 70. The lower endlink is a different Omega endlink with a bigger gap. Will try to find a second No. A few Weeks ago we had that dial Picture published and scrutinized at the Omega Forum for Vintage Omegas and all Specialists there agreed, that this Dial is all original. My ID there is the same like here. So, does not get better than this. The pictures are hard to get with all small details due to my not really doing well close-ups… Looks better in person and on your wrist. Diameter without crown: 35 mm. With crown: 37 mm.
