Rare 1938 Vintage Omega CK 2009 Medicus With An Extract From Archives. Rarely seen or offered 1938 vintage Omega CK 2009 with original unmolested patinated dial and fancy lugs. This watch features Omega caliber 23.4 SC movement with 15 jewels which runs well and winds smoothly. Original Omega blue hands. Stainless steel staybrite 28.5mm case. This watch is sometimes called Medicus and was the preferred watch for measuring heart rate by medics during WWII. 23.4 SC was the first Omega movement which features center sweeping second hands which was a key technological advancement in that time.
