ULTRA RARE Vintage 1984 Nike Aloha Omega. Aloha was made to commemorate the 1984 Honolulu Marathon. It was based on the Omega, a low profile shoe that featured a tropical floral pattern and each shoe had a unique pattern. The 84 Omega Aloha was mainly delivered for the Hawaiian market and given to the participants of that years marathon in Honolulu. Very few pair still exist and Ive personally never have seen a size 12 pop up for sale in my 20 years of heavy collecting. Finding anything over a 10.5 is practically unheard of, so I can say with a good amount of certainty you wont see another for sale anytime soon (if ever)! Condition is very solid overall considering the age. Very minimal tread loss which you will notice if you zoom in on the soles. The vinyl liner on the inside near the collar has deteriorated which 9/10 times happens unless you find a deadstock pair. That liner would go first in that case upon wearing. The original owner ran in the 1984 Honolulu Marathon and was one of the few lucky people to get a pair of these amazing shoes that weekend. Since then he said he only had worn them a few times. This is truly the most unique Nike shoe up until this point and still today IMO! One of those unicorn grails that rarely see the light of day.
