Vintage Omega 1956 Seamaster 17 Jewels Cal. 284 Mechanical Wind Swiss Made RARE. This watch is in above average condition with only a small crack around the 4 o’clock mark that stretches about 7MM in length. Honestly, the crack is hard to see but I took a photo for your inspection. Everything else on this watch is in great shape in my opinion especially considering it is a 65 year old vintage watch. The movement serial number aligns to 1956 as does the case reference number. The watch has beautiful facetted/dauphine hands that align to this time period as well. This is really a great watch that will arrive in time for Christmas!! No supply chain issues here! 36MM case (38MM w/ crown). 18MM lug to lug. Movement DM= 30.00mm. Movement H= 5.10mm. F = 18000 A/h. Keeping near perfect time after 12 hour test. Brand new genuine leather band. Movement serial # (dated to 1956). Case Reference: 2923-1SC (aligns to 1956 before Omega moved to 5 digit). Please ask any questions and I will do my best to answer. This watch has not been serviced but has been inspected while running for 12 hours. This watch is keeping good time but I would highly recommend having the watched service. I spend a lot of time researching to match up watch serial numbers, case reference numbers and features.
