This listing is for a lovely 1960s Omega Seamaster automatic watch with a beautiful original condition that has the Gerald Genta inspired Onyx inserts as shown (see below). This watch is in good mechanical condition and it is running and keeping time within a minute daily. Please read below for more details. Functions : Hours; minutes; seconds; date. A beautiful original dial with onyx stone inserts on the stainless markers at 12,3,6 & 9. It’s quite rare to see this type of dial on stainless steel Seamasters as it was reserved for the Constellation line and later used for gold Seamaster models. The Onyx was a Gerald Genta touch when he designed the Pie Pan Constellation for Omega in the late 1950s. The date flips at midnight. Case : A uni-construction (front-loading) stainless steel case measuring 34mm across excluding the crown. It is in very good general condition as pictured. Movement : The automatic movement is running well and keeping time within a minute per day with a reliably long power reserve. Original Omega signed crystal.
