ANOTHER GREAT OMEGA MILITARY WATCH FROM TIMEISPRECIOUS! IN SUPERB ORIGINAL CONDITION. A FANTASTIC ORIGINAL EXAMPLE OF THIS RARE AND SOUGHT AFTER WRIST WATCH! The prices of original military watches has rocketed over the last 12 months. These are now GREAT investments for the future in my opinion. This superb Omega military wristwatch has a its original composite chromed case and steel back. The case shows wear and tear commensurate with its age. I can see no noticeable dents or dings. The back of the case is stamped with the letters HS8 and numbered 4985. The letters are a little worn but are readable. It has the British military broad arrow in between the HS and 8. The inside of the case back is fully signed by OMEGA and numbered 10541545. The case measures 3.3cms (33mm) in diameter. This is a lovely original military FULLY SIGNED original OMEGA dial which is typical of this type of rare watch. It has a nice patina and a light spotting and marks as you would expect from normal service use showing its originality. It has Arabic numerals which are in good original condition showing light wear in places (see photographs). It is signed with the word’Omega’ to the top and’Swiss Made’ to the bottom. The dial has a blued steel centre second hand which is in good condition. The hour and minute hand are blued steel and are in excellent condition. This lovely dial has a black’railway’ outer minute track. The crystal is brand new and as such is in minty condition. This is a beautiful genuine OMEGA. 30-T2SC 16 jewel manual wind movement. It is in excellent working order and has kept very good time as tested over a 24 hour period. This beautiful movement has just been FULLY SERVICED at great cost to me by my watch maker. It is smooth running and winds and sets well. It is numbered 991xxxx dating it to C1943. It is fully stamped’OMEGA’ and’SWISS’. The crown is not original BUT it is an original Omega crown with the Omega symbol on it. It is in good condition. This beautiful watch has a brown genuine leather band fitted which is brand new. It has not been worn. The band and watch measure 9 inches in total length, so I would estimate that the watch will fit up to an 8 and 3/4 inch wrist comfortably. THIS IS A FANTASTIC AND ORIGINAL AND SOUGHT AFTER OMEGA RAF FLEET AIR ARM. This watch has recently been serviced. There is NO exception. I describe all of my items to the best of my knowledge.
