Very Rare Vintage Omega Scarab c. 1930s 35mm case and 50mm Horned Lugs to Lug

Up for a reluctant sale is the vintage 1930s Omega Scarab Stainless Steel! This rare model is featured in the Omega book, “A Journey Through Time” p. 128, which pictures and describes it as, Omega Art Deco Scarab wristwatch, 1938. What distinguishes the Scarab model, of course, are the stunning hooded lugs, which measure a massive 49-50mmmm from lug to lug! Recessed small seconds, minute track, which under the light looks little on the faded nice golden hue! Dark blued steel leaf shaped hands, polished stainless steel case, flange with a polished reed on the bezel, The Crown is cleverly designed to flushed into the middle casing! Please take note this is not the same as the common 30mm smaller version. It is an Excellent 35mm scarab case design and wears even larger than a regular datejust of 36mm! This is not a refinished dial but i would say one with a lot of character being more than 80 years old! Service history unknown but will be recommended if planning for an almost daily wear.
