ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE SOLID GOLD COLLECTABLE OMEGA WATCH FROM TIMEISPRECIOUS! OFFERED FOR SALE TODAY IS THIS BEAUTIFUL CIRCA 1900 TOP QUALITY OMEGA WATCH CO SOLID 18 CARAT GOLD LADY’S TRANSITIONAL FOB TO WRIST WATCH IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THIS IS A WATCH OF GOOD QUALITY. The stunning case to this beautiful IWC watch is solid 18 carat gold. IT IS A VERY GOOD QUALITY GOLD CASE. The case back has the most beautiful foliate and scrolling design which is crisp, showing no apparent wear. The cartouche has NO initials. I can see only a few minor dings to the eye. The back and front covers snap to very well. I have gently polished the case and it is shining nicely, as only hi grade solid 18 carat gold can. The dust cover is gold coloured metal and is in good condition showing one minor ding. The chain ring is not marked for gold, so I have to assume that it is gold plated. THE WATCH MEASURES 3.1 CMS (31mm) IN DIAMETER (excluding the winding crown). The DOUBLE CASE HINGES to the front rear show no signs of abuse. This is a transitional antique watch which has been converted to be able to take a 12mm band so that it can be worn on the wrist (not included). The inside of the back cover is FULLY SIGNED by OMEGA and is also marked for solid 18 carat gold. This gorgeous OMEGA watch has a beautiful foliate engraved dial. It is in lovely condition for its approx. 120 years of age. It is unsigned as you would expect. It has Roman black painted numerals, which are in good condition with only light wear to some numerals. The crystal is a plastic replacement but is in excellent condition. The dial has MINTY blued steel hands and has a lovely small sub second dial with a matching blued steel hand. This is a really fantastic original dial. (Very unusual for a watch of this age) It must have been kept away from the light of day for a lot of its life. This is a beautiful Swiss top quality original unsigned crown wound and set OMEGA jewelled lever movement. Omega didn’t always sign their movements on the balance side in this time period on this type of fob watch, but it may be signed under the dial. The watch exudes quality so it is a high end product. The movement is running well, has been timed and oiled and has kept decent time to within approximately a minute per day, as tested over the last 24 hours. As always, a full service would be recommended for optimum performance and timekeeping. The watch winds smoothly and sets as it should.
