STUNNING VINTAGE OMEGA SOLID 9K GOLD MECHANICAL WATCH. OMEGA CALIBRE 1030 17 JEWEL HAND WOUND MOVEMENT. ORIGINAL ACRYLIC CRYSTAL AND OMEGA CROWN. 1970’s SOLID 9K GOLD BARK AFTERMARKET BRACELET MADE FOR THIS WATCH. CASE AND BRACELET MADE IN ENGLAND. CASE MADE BY OWC’Omega Watch Company’ WITH FULL MAKERS MARK AND GOLD STANDARD HALLMARK FOR SOLID 9K GOLD. WEIGHS JUST UNDER 45 GRAMS OF 9K GOLD WEIGHT INCLUDES THE MOVEMENT AND DIAL. 1970’s mid to late. This is a beautiful watch and lovely clean design by the Iconic watch brand Omega. Not only is it a superb watch, it’s been custom made in solid Gold. Not gold plated. Solid British 9K Gold (9ct Gold) and a very cool bark style Solid 9K Gold bracelet, looks amazing with this watch! It’s a lower priced alternative to a Gold Rolex President in my opinion! The dial has patina starting around the indices and various minor scratches on all surfaces, but very good for its age. The watch works, runs and winds. I do not own a timegrapher and haven’t tested it for time keeping. If I was going to keep it, I’d have quick oiling and service done on it, to keep it running lovely. I’ve wore it out to dinner and it seems to keep time for that duration, but eventually stops overnight, which seems quite normal for any of my vintage mechanical watches. This has been a beautiful watch to wear and I’ve had much pleasure wearing it. It’s time for a new home. This is a Vintage watch, and just like Vintage Cars, they require TLC, regular oil changes, services and do not tend to be very water resistant.
