RARE VINTAGE OMEGA WEEMS MILITARY A. PILOTS WATCH BARN FIND PROJECT CIRCA 1940. This looks to be a British Military A. “Weems” pilots watch that was either unissued or had its military markings taken off as they are not now present on case back. Omega signed dial with luminous numerals. Steel case with snap back, signed Omega Watch Co and numbered. Case has fixed bars. Winding crown with secondary crown that screws up and down please note – watch is missing its bezel & bezel clamp that would allow the secondary crown to fasten it in place. Manual wind movement signed Omega and numbered. Overall a rare watch that someone can bring back to former glory! The watch winds and runs but cannot guarantee any reliability of accuracy. The dial has some light ageing and signs of patina. The case has scratches expected from use and age. It’s missing its bezel and clamp system as previously mentioned.
