Posted on March 28, 2020 | By admin
Extremely rare and desirable early vintage Omega rectangular watch two-tone sector dial from the 1930s/40s discovered as New Old Stock (NOS). The center circle is white and the rest of the background is silver. Raised black enamel markers, just stunning on the two-tone background. Sector dial watch models from this era are extremely hot right now, especially in Omega vintage watch pieces. Although NOS, this dial has a scratch down below the 5 o’clock marker; a few marks between 12 and 1; and some light dirty spots from storage. A skilled watchmaker could touch up those spots and make this original dial even better. It’s always far preferable to have an original dial like this than a refinished dial. This is likely for an Omega T17 rectangular watch c. It could also apply to a 20AF movement Omega rectangular model. Check the specs detailed here. Installing this dial to replace a redial or badly aged dial will increase the value of your watch more than the cost of this rare Omega watch part. Omega vintage watch part that came out of a watchmaker’s old stock. Dial that measures 28mm by 19mm. Has dial feet at 10 and 40 minute positions. The back has maker’s mark shown in one photo.
