Omega Vintage Speedmaster Transitional RARE 220 BEZEL c. 1970 (145.022-69 ST). Omega 145.022-69 ST Speedmaster Pre-Moon, 145 022 69 ST, 14502269. Rare example with the misprinted bezel listing 220 in place of 200, stainless steel HF case is in excellent condition on a stainless steel Omega bracelet (1171/1 with 633 end links), manual wind Omega caliber 861 movement, original black dial is in exceptional condition with all original tritium lume present and unaltered, rare “220” error tachymeter bezel is very clean, 12-hour chronograph, 30.5 mil serial, diameter: 42mm, thickness: 14mm. Excellent Condition for a rare vintage Speedmaster variant. This is a vintage c. 1969 stainless steel Omega Speedmaster Pre-Moon 145.022-69 ST. It has an integral stainless steel Omega 1171/1 bracelet with 633 end links and an acrylic crystal. It has a solid screw-down case back engraved with the Pre-Moon Speedmaster logo and a personal dedication from December of 1971. I t has round chronograph pushbuttons and a winding crown protected by a crown guard. There is a black tachymeter to 500 UPH on the bezel. This watch features a rare misprint of the bezel where “220” was printed in place of 200. This bezel is only found on watches from 1970 as it was quickly corrected by Omega. The 42mm diameter solid three-body case, integral lugs, and bracelet are polished/brushed. The original dial is black with the original luminous baton hands and creamy hour marker indices. There is an outer 1/5 seconds track, and a white central chronograph hand. There is a constant seconds subsidiary dial at 9 o’clock, a 12-hour sub dial at 6 o’clock, and a 30-minute sub dial at the 3 o’clock position. It’s water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and the 14mm thick case, movement, and dial are all signed. This Omega Speedmaster Pre-Moon 145.022-69 ST has a mechanical manual winding Omega caliber 861 movement that’s copper-colored, with a shock absorber mechanism. It’s constructed with 17 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance that’s adjusted for temperature and 5 positions. It includes a self-compensating flat balance spring, and an index regulator. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). Please allow 1-2 day processing.
