ANOTHER STUPENDOUS WATCH FIND FROM ANTIQUETIMEONLINE. A GORGEOUS AND EXTREMELY RARE ENGLISH CASED 1935 ART DECO OMEGA VERY. SOUGHT AFTER OVERSIZED CUSHION CASED SOLID 18 CARAT GOLD MANS WRIST. WATCH FITTED WITH A 15 JEWEL GENUINE FULLY SIGNED AND FULLY SERVICED TOP. SERVICED AND IN WORKING ORDER. This is an absolutely beautiful, good gauge and STUNNINGLY rare 3 piece genuine snap. Back solid THICK ENGLISH HALL MARKED solid 18k gold CUSHION CASED watch case. The case is in excellent condition, showing only light normal wear marks and a few nicks. The case back is inscribed with a presentation inscription dated 1935. Back snaps to very well and is peg located. The extended solid 18k gold lugs are in good. The inside of the case is beautifully engraved with the mark of ALD Aaron Luftkin. Dennison who were casemakers for Omega and other top brands at this time. IT IS ALSO BEAUTIFULLY ENGRAVED WITH THE RETAILERS NAME OF PENNINGTON &. BATTY OF LIVERPOOL in a beautiful type set. The case is fully hall marked for SOLID 18K. GOLD with assay and date marks for Birmingham 1935. The case measures 2.7cms (27mm). Across excluding the crown and lugs. It is of excellent quality and a good weight as you. This is a wonderful OMEGA SIGNED original two-tone dial. The dial is in good original. Condition and is showing no damage, just a nice even patina and some slight wear marks. Some hairlines as you would expect and a few light marks. All of the RARE APPLIED gold. Arabic numerals are beautiful and sharp. The dial has a gorgeous black painted outer. The dial is signed OMEGA. The dial has 2 fantastic original blued steel hour. Minute and sub second hands which look to be in excellent condition. The crystal is plastic. And shows some light normal age related wear. This is a wonderful genuine OMEGA high grade quality jeweled movement. It is fully signed. Has’Swiss Made’ embossed onto it and the wording OMEGA engraved into it in a beautiful. It is numbered 804xxx dating it to a very early 1935!! This fantastic movement is. In working order, is running well AND HAS BEEN FULLY SERVICED BY MY WATCHMAKER. I have timed it over 24 hours and keeps good time to within a couple of mins per day. Winds smoothly and sets as it should. All in all this is. Crown is golden in color and shows some wear thru on. This is an excellent brand new black leather 16mm open ended band for this watch. It is in minty condition and compliments this gorgeous OMEGA movement.
