This listing is for a lovely 1967 Omega Seamaster automatic watch with a beautiful original dial that has the Gerald Genta inspired Onyx inserts as shown (see below). This watch is in excellent mechanical condition and it is running and keeping excellent time and power reserve. Please read below for more details. Functions : Hours; minutes; seconds; date. A beautiful original dial with onyx stone inserts on the stainless markers. It’s quite rare to see this type of dial on stainless steel Seamasters as it was reserved for the Constellation line and later used for gold Seamaster models. The Onyx was a Gerald Genta touch when he designed the Pie Pan Constellation for Omega in the late 1950s. You can quick-set the date by pulling on the crown. Case : A stainless steel case measuring 34mm across excluding the crown. It is in good general condition as pictured. Movement : The automatic Caliber 565 movement is running well and keeping time within a few seconds per day with a reliably long power reserve. The movement looks clean and there are many service notes inside the case back, indicating regular service in the past – ready to wear and enjoy! The Caliber 565 is one of Omega’s most reliable movements and it allows you to quick set the date through the crown. View the photo of the clean movement. Crown : signed original Omega crown in good condition. You can pull the crown to change the date. Bracelet /strap: Comes on a classy 18mm strap as shown, and with an Omega stainless buckle.
