1944 vintage watch mens Omega ref. 2400-1 Suveran cal. 30T2 military rare steel

A 30mm model launched at the beginning of 1940s by Martin Lodenius, principal of the J. Brandt general agency in Stockholm, the Omega Suveran (the name occasionally engraved on the case back) was promoted with the slogan: The Wristwatch with pocket watch precision. The model 2400 also known as Omega Suveran, which in Swedish means sovereign, as Sweden considered sovereign during WW2. This models were exclusively produced to the Swedish government and in limited numbers, which explains why the model is considered rare and highly collectible. Both models are hard to come by on wide world marked and are most likely to be found in the Scandinavian countries. All in stainless steel with scratches and marks ref. Fine condition with strong geometry. 35mm without crown / 42mm lug to lug / 11mm tickness / 18mm lug width. Mechanical manual wind cal. Which refers to 1944. Working well and keep the time. Untouched with mark and signs of age, sems the hands was re-lumed in the past. New 18mm military style in nylon, dark green. Overall in good condition, a collector piece.
