Rare Gold Capped Omega Seamaster Fully Automatic Watch – Cal 501. Sought after Rare Fully Automatic Model with the pale gold face & Sweep Second Hand. The gold face is in unmarked condition, rare for a vintage watch. The pale gold watch face shows the Omega logo at the 12 o’clock position and the words Omega Automatic plus Seamaster at the higher 6 oclock position plus a target across the watch and a raised centre circle pie pan? The acrylic crystal does have some minor scratches – the only noticeable one is at the 6 o’cock position which I have tried to show in picture 8 – if fussy you can always get the glass changed – it has never bothered me. Diameter is approx 36mm including the crown – it fits a mans wrist size perfectly. The gold capped watch case is again in excellent condition with few noticeable marks. The case back contains the words Seamaster & Waterproof (not tested so don’t put it in the bath) and on the inside has the serial numbers & Omega Logo etc. There are some scratches on the outside of the case back. The crown is in excellent condition but does not contain the Omega logo so I assume is not original. Please note the Automatic Calibre 501 movement is original to the watch. Finally the watch comes with the original Gold Capped Omega Buckle and a new aftermarket free black leather watch strap. Please be aware that there may be small marks that I have not noticed – this is a vintage used watch after all.
