Vintage Original 1968 OMEGA AUTOMATIC 17 JEWELS CAL 550 Runs Great Rare 10k GF. Absolutely gorgeous Vintage 1968 Omega Automatic 17 jewel 550 caliber. This watch is running great and keeping excellent time. I wore this watch for quite a bit and absolutely love it. This one is out of my personal collection and looking for a new home. The band has been used and I do use leather conditioner on it. It softens the leather but also greatly darkens the inside as you can see. There is some wear on this one due to age. There is light scratching on the case and case back. There is very fine hairline cracks in the crystal due to age. None of this takes away from the look of the watch or reading it. The crown looks to be original but there is a large amount of wear on the end of it. It looks like the previous owner wore it with a shirt due to it wearing down the crown and Omega symbol. Overall just a gorgeous watch with multiple markings on the inside case back from being serviced as well. As with any of our auctions, please look at all pictures carefully, ask any questions you have, and read the description. If we have an item that has a known issue, we will tell you… If it’s something with a major issue… We just won’t sell it. Unfortunately, some older products can run into issues.
