Rare Vintage 1943 Black Dial Omega Raf Pilots Ww2 British Military Watch

ANOTHER GREAT OMEGA WATCH FROM ANTIQUETIMEONLINE! FULLY SERVICED AND A FANTASTIC EXAMPLE OF THIS RARE AND SOUGHT AFTER MILITARY PILOTS/NAVIGATORS NIGHT FLIGHT WRIST WATCH! This superb Omega 1942 RAF navigator/Pilots wristwatch has its original 1940’s white metal composite case with its steel case back. The case only shows normal age related wear and tear consumerate with its age. I can see no noticeable dents or dings. The back of the case has is stamped with the British goverment BROAD ARROW and is numbered 6B/159 and A19472. The inside of the case back is FULLY SIGNED BY OMEGA AND IS NUMBERED 2292 as it should be. The case back has a few marks from opening tools and light scratches to the case back but nothing too detrimental. The case measures 3.5cms (35mm) in diameter. This is a lovely black military FULLY SIGNED OMEGA dial. This example has the typical MOD replacement black dial BUT it still has its old lume dots on the hour marks. The hands are look to be the original blued steel hands which have been lumed showing small losses. It looks very nice and is in excellent condition. It has white Arabic numerals which are sharp and show no discernable wear. The dial has a centre second hand which is in very good condition and is painted white. The dial has a lovely white outer minute track. The crystal is in excellent condition, only showing some light marks in places. This is a beautiful genuine OMEGA 30-T2SC 16 jewel manual wind movement. This movement has been FULLY SERVICED at considerable cost by my watchmaker. It is in excellent going order and has kept good time as tested over a 24 hour period. It is smooth running and winds and sets well. It is numbered 9819920 dating it to circa 1943. It is fully stamped’OMEGA’ and’SWISS’. The crown seems to be original and looks great. This beautiful watch has a black genuine leather band fitted which is brand new. It has not been worn. The band and watch measure 9 inches in total length, so I would estimate that the watch will fit up to an 8 and 3/4 inch wrist comfortably. THIS IS A FANTASTIC AND SOUGHT AFTER OMEGA MILITARY WRISTWATCH WITH AN OMEGA’56 TWIST IN EXCELLENT. There is NO exception. I describe all of my items to the best of my knowledge.
